We’ve finally done it. We purchased our printer (was waiting for an 11×17 capable one) and it’s going to be a few weeks before it arrives. But I’m just so excited to begin to get this started.
I used to work in a small printshop with my partner and we both dearly miss it. I worked the front and got to meet all our customers, and he was in the back working on production. It always felt good to give a customer a quality product. Some days were hectic or way too long, but the work made people happy and that made us happy. I’m so excited to get back to that.
We know a ton of artists friends and San Antonio is filled with creative people too. We want to see their work and give them a place where they can print with people they know and trust and have alternatives to the big chain UPEss Store and Staples. Our community deserves options!
It’s a guilty pleasure too to see the work. We got people that can art, we have people that can write, and we have people that can hustle. It’s all such an inspiration and I can’t wait to mount stuff on the walls.
